06.02.10 - Stark
Another grey day today, but I managed to get out for a walk at lunchtime. I liked the silhouette of this old tree, and the hedges disappearing into the misty distance down to the river. The humps and hollows in the foreground are the remains of the long lost Medieval village of South Greetwell. All that is left standing is the church and old hall, which have featured in my Dailies before.
Huge thanks to everyone who left such wonderful comments on yesterday's sunset silhouette. I was amazed to come home and find it as the most popular shot of the day this evening :)
