Yesterday was really hot and humid, and when you can't eat anymore ice creams or drink anymore ice cold ginger beer where can you go to stay cool? Well I decided to explore this old churchyard and get some shelter under the trees. Skellingthorpe is just outside Lincoln, about 8 miles from my part of town. The church looks very old, but it is deceptive. I've found it very hard to get information on it, but I think it dates from the 1500s, although it was re-built in 1865, and again in 1916 after a fire. It is certainly very photogenic. I did several sepia conversions, some B&Ws and a couple of nice watercolours, but eventually went for this one.
