johnloguk > 18.12.09 - Out of Body Experience!

OK so this is just a variation on my Daily from Tuesday, but it is born out of pure frustration. Friday is always my busiest day of the week, and it coincided with the coldest day of the year and our first proper snow fall. None of that is a problem for a cold and snow lover like me, but when my car decides not to start, and I have 40 deliveries to make, my head nearly exploded. In the end I made them on foot this evening, or most of them anyway, but it took a very long time and most of my energy. Luckily I'd prepared curried meatballs earlier and just had to pop them in the oven when I got back home.

Hopefully my car will work tomorrow and I'll be able to catch up with everything.

If anyone fancies trying this shot here is the techie info, it couldn't be easier. I put the camera on the kitchen work top, set the auto timer, on shutter priority for 6 seconds. I sat in the chair, counted to three once the shutter clicked, then got up and stood behind "myself" for the rest of the exposure.
johnloguk > 6.11.09 - Ghostly Goings On :)

At the end of an insanely busy day what better thing to do than create something insane! As you know, I love playing around with movement in low light, and I couldn't find a better therapy this evening. All of these shots were single exposures of 5 seconds. I couldn't decide which to use for my Daily so I put them together like this.

View it as BIG as you can :)

There are 4 more shots from this evening here; http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/Travel/MY-HOMETOWN/4222541_LCXPH#705297971_BcAmy
johnloguk > 4.10.09 - Woooooooooooooooooooooooooo

More ghostly goings on in the "ghost corridor". I think yesterday's ghost pic had a romantic feel to it, so I tried for a more Gothic feel to this one. I promise to do something different tomorrow :)
johnloguk > 3.10.09 - Ghost in the Machine

Ghostly goings on at Gainsborough Old Hall. I've had this idea ever since I found out that this was called the "ghost corridor", so while I was trapped inside the PC I thought I'd have a go at creating this. It is the first time I've experimented with layers in this way, maybe I should have made Lydia even more transparent, but hey I'm sure I'll try this again.

Those of you that haven't already seen my gallery of the Hall might want to check this out; http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/History/GAINSBOROUGH-OLD-HALL/9662694_gb4gb#652216254_Fyruu

Thanks for the wonderful response to my silly SP yesterday, it was a lot of fun making that :)

This is a taster of my Monday Challenge entry "Motion", which I'll be uploading later. This is straight out of camera, no PS witchery here. I'll link to the challenge entry later, have a nice day :)
