johnloguk > 3.12.09 - Steaming Ahead

I was expecting to be posting another night shot today, but that was until a friend told me that a steam train was coming to town this afternoon. This is the steam locomotive "Bittern", built in 1937, and very impressive it was too. It was bringing people from London to Lincoln's Christmas Market, which is highly likely to feature in my Dailies over the next few days.

I thought the sepia treatment suited the subject matter, but a lot more "normal" shots of the train can be found here; http://johnloguk.smugmug.com/gallery/10523514_oR9rh#730816291_E5sr2
