This is a gallery for images that I hope will be a little bit different. Maybe a place to try new things, or somewhere to put photos that I feel might carry more of a message than usual. Perhaps it will be where I try to follow the spirit of my photographic heroes, like Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell or Don McCullin? Who knows? But I intend it to be a place open to criticism, and a place to learn and extend myself.
Lady of the Butterflies
You may have noticed that I don't do portraits very often, but it is always good to get outside your comfort zone, or so I'm always being told :)
Over the last couple of years I've been lucky enough to work with this wonderful group of people on several projects
http://www.wagscreen.co.uk/site/index.php and this weekend was the latest of those. I find it so inspiring to work closely with such highly skilled people, and it has certainly pushed me into new areas.
They were filming a show reel for the actress Tiffany Haynes, based on the novel "Lady of the Butterflies", which in turn is based on the real life of Lady Eleanor Glanville (1654-1709).
I have a gallery here from the weekend
